School Websites

You are not the same as other schools, so why should your website be?

Our websites help communicate the vision and aims of your school to your users, and we do this by getting to know you and understanding what makes your school different. With that in mind we do not build generic or template sites, we build bespoke to the needs of the organisation.

We are now building all our school websites so they format for mobile, tablet and of course desktop computers - this is termed as "responsive design”. It means term dates can be checked as easily in the playground as at home. Theres no need for a seperate mobile app.

Easy updating

Our sites are designed and built to let you update them yourself (unless you’d prefer not to)! We use a specially developed, custom-built, in-house CMS (content management system). This has been developed with and tested on teachers over a number of years. It’s incredibly simple to use and we also include an excellent standard of training to get you up and running. Our CMS allows you to edit all page content as well as add new pages to navigation, upload images and documents. We don’t put any limits on the amount of pages or images that you can upload. Our CMS constantly evolves along with new technologies at no additional costs to our education users.

Through our CMS we can also provide the facility for class blogs, managed by the class teacher and even student blogs (moderated by the class teacher of course!).

A helping hand

We hold your hand after your website is live. It is important that you get the most from your school website, and a new design is often just the start. The most successful websites are like gardens and it’s important to make time to cultivate and maintain them. We can provide a consultancy service on a regular basis to teach staff about good content practice - or we can provide a content production service and make the updates for you. We are also able to provide a Dr Blog service to get your teachers up and running with their new blogs ensuring that your class blogs not only document the experiences and events of a class but also to create engaging and learning content too. Our sessions also cover e-safety best practice!

Lets not forget print

Lets not forget print... we are often asked to produce materials for internal and external marketing that extends the design service that we can offer your school; this ranges from headed note paper to school reports to prospectus/school magazines to internal and external signage.

Some of our work for schools

We enjoy building websites for schools and watching them grow to become invaluable resources for the whole school community; parents, pupils and staff. Click here to see some of the work we have completed for education.
